WHAT: The holidays will be merrier and brighter along San Francisco?s waterfront with THE CANNERY?s first VERY BEARY CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING FESTIVAL. This old fashion celebration includes strolling Dickens carolers, FREE holiday treats including chestnut roasting, hot apple cider and kids activities such as arts & craft, cookie decorating, and a special Teddy Bear Tea Party for kids at Basic Brown Bear Factory (2nd Level, THE CANNERY). The celebration will also feature seven Bufano & Bergeron animal sculptures on display including Bear and Nursing Cubs.
Families who bring 5 or more canned food items on the night of the event get 50% off any bear at The Basic Brown Bear Factory. Del Monte Foods will match any donations to The San Francisco Food Bank.
The event is free and open to the public.
